사진작가 신태호는 자연의 결에 시선을 두고, 그 속에 축적된 시간의 흔적을 렌즈에 담아내는 작업을 지속해 오고 있습니다.

대자연이 품은 지질학적 서사와 그 안에 숨 쉬는 풍경을 기록하는 작업의 일환으로 부안지질공원의 생태를 심도 있게 탐구해 왔습니다. 나아가 2024년 김영섭 사진화랑에서 개최한 개인전 《욕망, 그 끝에 서면 비로소 보이는 것》을 통해 시선을 인간 내면으로 확장하며, 인간의 원초적 갈망과 본질적인 공허, 그리고 그 한계의 끝에서 마주하는 진실된 자아를 사진적 언어로 밀도 있게 풀어냈습니다.

거대한 대자연의 시간성과 인간 내면의 궤적을 관통하는 그의 작업 세계는 관람객으로 하여금 존재에 대한 깊은 성찰과 예술적 공감을 이끌어냅니다.

Fine art photographer Taeho Shin explores the accumulation of time and the remnants of existence, guided by the organic contours of the natural world.

His practice deeply investigates the ecological and geological narratives of the earth, as showcased in his extensive documentation of Buan Geopark. Expanding his gaze from the outer landscape to the inner psyche, his 2024 solo exhibition, Desire: What is Revealed at the Edge (held at the Kim Young-seob Gallery of Photography), leveraged the photographic medium to scrutinize raw human longing, existential void, and the authentic self discovered upon confronting those psychological boundaries.

Intersecting the vast temporal scale of nature with the intricate trajectories of human emotion, Shin’s work invites viewers into a space of profound self-reflection and resonant artistic dialogue.
